We are in the process of creating an automatic data reduction pipeline. The project passed conceptual design review in November 2007, with initial deployment currently scheduled for late 2009. The full project aspires towards both Science Quality processing within the Gemini Science Archive, and Quality Assurance processing in near-real-time during observing at the telescopes, for all facility Gemini instruments, however the first phase of the project will cover QA processing only and will start with GMOS imaging. We will then add coverage for other instruments and modes and work towards Science Quality processing.
