Calibration
Baseline calibrations are taken at the end of the night or during the day. They are not charged to the program. If Sky Flats are taken during the night then these are charged to the program.
NICI baseline calibrations are GCAL flats for every used filter and mask combination, and darks for all used exposure times. Additional daytime calibrations, such as imaging of the pinhole grid in the Calibration Slide to measure the registration of the two science channel detectors can be requested.
