Instrument Observing Blocks: 2002B

The schedules below indicate the current best estimate of instrument blocks for 2002B. They are subject to engineering demands on the telescopes during this shared-risks phase. To ensure best availability for queue observing, please try and avoid the extremes of the specified RA ranges.

Gemini North

NIRI:

• No restrictions on target RA.

GMOS:

• No restrictions on target RA.

Gemini South

T-ReCS:

• Available for imaging after 1 October 2002; only targets with RA between 19h and 14h will be accepted.
• Not available for spectroscopy.

Acquisition Camera:

• No restrictions on target RA.

Flamingos I:

• Available for imaging and long-slit spectroscopy until end November; only targets with RA between 15h and 10h will be accepted.
• Not available for multi-object spectroscopy.

Phoenix:

• Available after 1 October 2002. Only targets with RA between 19h and 14h will be accepted.
