Dolores Coulson is the Lead Senior Systems Support Associate at Gemini North. She received her BA in Mathematics from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 1982 and her MPhil in Astronomy in 1993 from the University of Central Lancashire, England. She was a telescope operator at the United Kingdom Infrared Telescope from 1983 to 1997. In 1993 she became an Afficliate Astronomer at the Joint Astronomy Centre until 1997, when she joined the Gemini North Operation.Her research interests are in Star Formation, Bipolar Outflows, Vega-Excess type stars and Brown Dwarfs.

Jesse Ball is a System Support Associate. He received his B.A. in Physics with Emphasis on Astronomy from Macalester College in 2001, where he worked under Prof. Kim Venn as the Observatory Specialist. He went on to work as the Observatory Manager at Carleton College through 2002. In 2004, he joined the STACEE project (Solar Tower Atmospheric Cherenkov Effect Experiment: a ground-based gamma-ray observatory) as an Observer. He came to Gemini N. in 2007, and hopes to pursue optical instrumentation while here.

He obtained a BA from SFSU and an MS in Astronomy from NAU. His first experience at an observatory was in Arizona spying on the astrometric motion of several of our stellar neighbors. Later he found himself on the island of Hawai'i operating the United Kingdom InfraRed Telescope. In mid 2007 Lucas joined Gemini South as a System Support Associate. His astronomical interests include low mass objects, astrobiology, and instrumentation.

Michael Hoenig is a Data Analysis Specialist at Gemini North. He obtained a BSc in Astrophysics from the University of Sussex in 1996, and a PhD from the University of Cambridge's Institute of Astronomy in 2004. His thesis centred around the commissioning of the CIRSI near-infrared mosaic camera, the development of a suitable data reduction process, and a subsequent search for distant galaxy clusters.

Tony Matulonis is a System Support Associate at the Gemini North Observatory in Hilo Hawaii. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Astronomy from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 2002. After working as an Interpretive Guide at the Ellison Onizuka Center for International Astronomy Visitor Information Station, Observatory Night Attendant at the NASA IRTF, and Telescope Operator at the UH 2.2-meter on Mauna Kea, he joined the Gemini Observatory in 2003. His interests include adaptive optics and laser guide star systems.

Bernie Walp is a System Support Associate at Gemini North Observatory. He followed a two-decade career in public-opinion research and political strategy consulting with the study of mathematics and a bachelor's degree from San Francisco State. He served as a research aide and observer for the California and Carnegie Planet Search at UC Berkeley under Profs. Geoff Marcy and Debra Fischer, then as a telescope operator at Lick Observatory, and later as the site director of Mt. Wilson's Infrared Spatial Interferometer under Prof. Charles Townes of UC Berkeley.
