Andrew Serio is a System Support Associate at Gemini South Observatory in La Serena, Chile. He worked at Gemini North in Hilo, Hawaii from July 2007 until his transfer to Gemini South. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Geophysics from Boston University in 2004, and his Masters of Sciences in Astronomy from San Diego State University in 2007. His research has ranged from studying the interaction between Io and the Jovian plasma torus to a CEGP transit survey of the Open Cluster NGC7142. |

Brian Walls is a Systems Engineer at Gemini North. He received his BS in Computer Science and Physics/Astronomy from Appalachian State University in North Carolina. At ASU he was an operator/observer on the 32" telescope at Dark Sky Observatory. He joined the Gemini team in 1999. He is also the Lead Programmer for the Gemini Integration Time Calculator. |
