Hokupa'a Performance Calulations: Zenith angle |
Observing at larger zenith angles translates into a larger path length over which the seeing degradations take place. The seeing increases as the 3/5rds power of the airmass. The figure below illustrates the change in seeing as a function of zenith angle.
