With the avalanche of alerts delivered by LSST and the limited resources for follow-up, we will need brokers to select intriguing alerts that warrant follow-ups in a timely manner. At NOAO and University of Arizona, we are developing the Arizona-NOAO Temporal Analysis and Response to Events System (ANTARES), to hunt for the rarest of the rare event in the time-domain. In this talk we will give an overview of the ANTARES system, how we actively annotate and stream out intriguing ZTF alerts with contextual information from multi wavelength catalogs, and the way forwards for LSST (with the potential of folding in VVV source catalogues and variables).
