The 2012B Phase I Tool (PIT) has been released as part of the 2012B call for proposals. This is a completely new PIT with the following major changes:
Gemini is now accepting proposals for observing time in Semester 2012B. The submission deadline is THURSDAY/FRIDAY MARCH 29/30 2012 (the exact deadline varies with partner). The 2012B PIT is entirely new and improved and users are encouraged to get familiar with the new Tool well ahead of the proposal submission deadline.
The Gemini North Observing Database is back online. Please submit a Help Desk Ticket if you experience any problems.
The Gemini 2012A observing programs have now been announced. Successful PIs will have received email notification. Please check the schedules page for more information.
The Gemini observing databases are back online after the quarterly software update, and the latest version of the Gemini Observing Tool (2012A.1.1.1) is now available for download or via updating an existing installation of the OT. This update is required to communicate with the observing databases.
Note that a small update will be released next week, so those with site-wide installations may wish to wait until then to update to the 2012A version.
