IGRINS-2 System Verification

IGRINS-2 System Verification (SV) process was performed from May to October 2024, providing comprehensive testing of the Gemini Observatory system and operational procedures. This process also aimed to demonstrate the instrument's capabilities across a variety of science cases in preparation for the first open calls for proposals. The SV observing run was completed during July 17-23, 2024, with about 21 hours spent on IGRINS-2 observations. Raw data from the SV run has been publicly available in the Gemini Observatory Archive since mid-August, and the reduced data is also assessible.
